On Tuesday October 23rd STPD Officers handled 21 incidents and investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Possession of drug paraphernalia-Pleasant View Dr

At 0005 hours Officers responded to a residence on Pleasant View Dr for the report of a domestic dispute.  A female involved in the dispute was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  She was released with charges to be filed.

Hit and run-Rt 30 at N Hills Rd

At 0802 hours an Officer met with the victim who reported a black Dodge Charger had struck her vehicle and failed to stop at the scene.

Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St

At 1148 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $79 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was cited and released.

Criminal mischief-Yorkshire Apartments, E Market St

At 1555 hours an Officer met with the victim who reported someone had damaged his motorcycle while it was in the parking lot.

Retail theft/Possession of marijuana and methamphetamine-Walmart, E Market St

At 1612 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a report of a retail theft in progress.  Two females were detained for taking $128 worth of merchandise without paying.  They were also found to be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine.  They were released with charges to be filed.

Identity theft-Woodlyn Terrace

At 1700 hours an Officer took a report from the victim for identity theft.  She advised that someone had opened a credit card using her information and the investigation is ongoing.

DUI-2500 block of E Market St

At 1921 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2500 block of E Market St.  The driver was found to be under the influence and she was arrested for DUI.  She was transported to the hospital for a blood test and then to Central Booking for processing.  Charges pending blood test results.
