On Friday October 5th STPD Officers handled 34 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Possession of drug paraphernalia-Haines Rd at Mt Rose Ave

At 0343 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Haines Rd.  The driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft-Walmart, E Market St

At 0848 hours an Officer met with the victim who reported that on 10/4 she was at Walmart and accidentally left her purse in a shopping cart.  When she returned to get her purse she found it was gone.

Criminal mischief-Innovation Dr

At 0949 hours an Officer responded to a business on Innovation Dr and met with the caller who advised a sign at the business had been damaged on 10/1.

Theft from a vehicle-Ulta, Concord Rd

At 1250 hours an Officer took a report for a theft from a vehicle that occurred in August.  The victim reported someone had taken some hair cutting equipment from her vehicle.

Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St

At 2042 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft that occurred earlier.  An employee advised a male took over $3,000 worth of merchandise without paying.  Photos of the male were posted for identification assistance.

Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St

At 2042 hours an Officer took a report for a retail theft that occurred on 10/4.  An employee advised that two subjects took $398 worth of merchandise without paying and were last seen headed towards Northern Way.

DUI-Turkey Hill, E Market St

At 2212 hours an Officer responded to Turkey Hill for the report of a male who was passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle in the parking lot.  The male was found to be intoxicated and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and charged due to this being his second DUI.
