On Thursday October 4th STPD Officers handled 33 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Possession of heroin/Drug paraphernalia-Gabriel Brothers Plaza, Greensprings Dr
At 0115 hours an Officer made contact with a female in a vehicle in the parking lot of the shopping center. She was found to have a warrant and was in possession of heroin and assorted drug paraphernalia. She was transported to Central Booking for the warrant and charges will be filed for the drug offenses.
Theft-Quality Inn, E Market St
At 0500 hours an Officer met with the victim who reported someone had entered his hotel room and took clothing and a video game console. The investigation is ongoing.
Theft by deception-Icon Health, Concord Rd
At 0845 hours an Officer took a report for theft by deception at Icon Health. The owner of the business advised a former employee had submitted fraudulent documents to the business resulting in the loss of several thousand dollars.
Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St
At 1226 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft where a suspect had fled. An employee advised a male took $73 worth of merchandise without paying and took off running when confronted.
Hit and run-Central York High School, Mundis Mill Rd
At 1923 hours an Officer responded to the school for the report of a driver that struck a parked vehicle in the lot and left the area. The tag number was obtained and the driver was later identified. The victim declined prosecution.
