On Friday May 25th STPD Officers handled 33 incidents, investigated 7 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

DUI-2800 block of Eastern Blvd

At 0229 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Eastern Blvd.  The driver was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges were completed due to this being his second DUI.

Theft of services-Maple Donuts, 3455 E Market St

At 0245 hours an Officer responded to Maple Donuts for the report of two males who left without paying their bill.  Some information on the subjects was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.

Criminal Mischief-Central York High School, 601 Mundis Mill Rd

At 0915 hours the School Resource Officer took a report for criminal mischief to a vehicle.  The victim advised her windshield was damaged while at the school.

Trespassing-3000 block of Druck Valley Rd

At 1015 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Druck Valley Rd for a trespassing complaint.  The investigation is ongoing.

Identity theft-2000 block of Mt Zion Rd

At 1300 hours an Officer took a report for identity theft involving a cell phone account.  The victim advised someone had used her identity to access her cell phone provider account and made unauthorized transactions.

Theft-Central York High School, 601 Mundis Mill Rd

At 1330 hours the School Resource Officer took a report for a theft from a locker.  The victim advised an electronic device was taken from the locker during the school day.

Theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1523 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a theft report.  The victim accidentally left cash at the register and it was taken by another customer.  The investigation is ongoing.

Theft by deception-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1613 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a theft by deception that occurred on 5/23/18.  The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1955 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a male in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised he had taken $62 worth of merchandise without paying.  He was released with charges to be filed.

Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia-Princeton Rd

At 2000 hours an Officer was advised of a possible drug violation at a residence on Princeton Rd.  The investigation led to a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia being recovered at the residence.  Charges to be filed.
