On Tuesday May 29th STPD Officers handled 32 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Institutional vandalism-Central York High School, 601 Mundis Mill Rd
At 0715 hours the School Resource Officer took a report of graffiti on the front of the school that occurred over the past few days.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1237 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a male in custody for retail theft. An employee advised the male had taken $237 worth of merchandise without paying. He was taken to Central Booking and charged due to being a TX resident.
Theft-Domino’s Pizza, 3921 E Market St
At 1326 hours an Officer responded to Domino’s for the report of a theft. The manager advised someone took cash from the business over the past few days. The investigation is ongoing.
Retail theft-Boscovs, 2899 Whiteford Rd
At 1657 hours an Officer responded to Boscovs for the report of a retail theft that occurred earlier. An employee advised a male fled after taking $9 in merchandise without paying.
