On Wednesday May 23rd STPD Officers handled 44 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Possession of drug paraphernalia-Chateau Motel, 3951 E Market St

At 0742 hours an Officer responded to the Chateau Motel for the report of a suspicious vehicle.  An occupant of the vehicle was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and had warrants for his arrest.  He was transported to Central Booking for the warrants and charges will be filed.

Theft-Village East Apartments, 3400 Eastern Blvd

At 1100 hours an Officer responded to the Village East Apts for a theft report.  The victim advised several items were taken from his apartment within the past several hours.

Disorderly conduct-Aspen Dental, 2803 Concord Rd

At 1211 hours an Officer responded to Aspen Dental for the report of a patient who was creating a disturbance.  The patient was located and continued to yell profanities and act aggressively.  He eventually left the area and a citation will be filed.

Hit and run-York Town Shopping Center-Concord Rd

At 1636 hours an Officer responded to the shopping center for a hit and run report.  It was reported that a tractor/trailer struck several landscaping rocks and drug them into the roadway.  The tractor/trailer was located nearby and the driver was cited.

Hit and run-Pleasant Valley Rd at Mt Zion Rd

At 1654 hours an Officer met with the victim for a hit and run report.  The victim advised a vehicle struck his vehicle and the driver provided false information before fleeing the area.  The investigation is ongoing.

False ID to Law Enforcement-Old Orchard Rd at Locust Grove Rd

At 2330 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Old Orchard Rd.  The driver provided false information about his identity and it was later discovered he was a juvenile who did not have a license.  He was released to a parent with charges to be filed.
