On Thursday May 17th STPD Officers handled 27 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Hit and run-Mt Rose Ave at Greensprings Dr

At 1200 hours an Officer took a report for a hit and run that occurred on Mt Rose Ave.  The victim advised a vehicle rear ended her car and left the area without stopping.

Harassment-Village East Apartments, 3400 Eastern Blvd

At 1257 hours Officers responded to Village East for the report of a domestic dispute.  Investigation revealed a male and a female got into a physical altercation.  The investigation is ongoing.

Harassment-3000 block of Bedfordshire Dr

At 1355 hours Officers responded to a residence on Bedfordshire Dr for the report of a domestic dispute.  Investigation revealed two females got into a physical altercation.  The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Kohls, 2600 Pleasant Valley Rd

At 1620 hours an Officer responded to Kohls for a retail theft.  An employee advised a female had taken $101 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was identified and charges will be filed.

Access device fraud-Arsenal Rd

At 1730 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of access device fraud.  The victim advised his bank card was lost and then used at several locations to make unauthorized purchases.

Retail theft-Best Buy, 2865 Concord Rd

At 1926 hours an Officer responded to Best Buy for the report of a retail theft in progress.  An employee advised a male had concealed $199 worth of merchandise.  The male was stopped as he left the store and was taken to Central Booking and charged with felony retail theft due to this being his 5th offense.
