On Wednesday May 16th STPD Officers handled 19 incidents, investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Possession of drug paraphernalia-200 block of Heistand Rd

At 0014 hours Officers responded to a residence on Heistand Rd for a domestic dispute.  While on scene Officers observed several items of drug paraphernalia.  Charges pending further investigation.

Counterfeit currency-McDonald’s, 380 Memory Ln

At 1022 hours an Officer responded to McDonald’s for the report of counterfeit currency that was used to make a purchase.  Employees advised someone had used the counterfeit currency within the past several hours.

Theft from a vehicle-Lowes, 2449 E Market St

At 1200 hours an Officer met with the victim for a theft report.  The victim advised several thousand dollars worth of tools were stolen out of his truck while he was inside the store.  The investigation is ongoing.

Access device fraud-2500 block of Eastern Blvd

At 1330 hours an Officer took a report for access device fraud.  The victim advised that someone had used his bank card information and attempted to make several ATM withdrawals in another state.

Hit and run-Hoss’s, 3604 E Market St

At 1406 hours an Officer responded to Hoss’s for the report of a hit and run that occurred in the parking lot.  The victim advised his vehicle was struck while he was inside the restaurant.  A witness advised the striking vehicle was a black Chevrolet Silverado truck.

Counterfeit currency-Sheetz, 405 Memory Ln

At 2237 hours an Officer responded to Sheetz for the report of counterfeit currency that was used to make a purchase.  Employees advised they would check video surveillance to determine who presented the bill.
