On Tuesday February 27th STPD Officers handled 32 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
DUI/Fleeing and eluding-E Market St at S Kershaw St
At 0235 hours an Officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on E Market St. The suspect vehicle fled from police but was located in the 3200 block of E Market St. The operator was arrested and found to be under the influence. He was transported to the hospital for a blood test and then to Central Booking where he was charged with numerous offenses.
Harassment-White Rose Credit Union, 3498 Industrial Hwy
At 1711 hours an Officer met with the victim for a harassment report. The victim advised a known person had struck her at the business. The investigation is ongoing.
