On Friday December 29th STPD Officers handled 28 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 4 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Public drunkenness-Maple Donuts, 3455 E Market St

At 0327 hours an Officer responded to Maple Donuts for the report of an intoxicated subject who was disturbing customers and refusing to leave.  The male was transported to Central Booking and cited.

Theft from a vehicle-400 block of Marion Rd

At 1035 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Marion Rd for a theft report.  The victim advised that within the past 24 hours sometime entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her purse.

Criminal mischief-500 block of Quaker Dr

At 1230 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.  The victim stated that within the past several days someone had scratched his vehicle with a sharp object while it was parked on the street.

Theft-1700 block of Long Dr

At 1521 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Long Dr for a theft report.  The victim advised a package was delivered to his home at 1124 hours and by 1200 hours it was stolen off his porch.

Retail theft-Boscovs, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1540 hours an Officer responded to Boscovs for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised a female had taken $247 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was released with charges to be filed.
