On Tuesday December 26th STPD Officers handled 32 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Harassment-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 0803 hours an Officer responded to the parking lot of Walmart for a harassment report.  The victim advised that a subject approached him in the parking lot and was apparently upset over a driving issue.  The suspect grabbed the victim and held him against a vehicle before leaving the area.  The tag number of the suspect’s vehicle was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.

Criminal mischief-700 block of Hammond Rd

At 1345 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Hammond Rd for the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.  The victim advised that between 12/24/17 and 12/26/17 someone had scratched his vehicle with a sharp object, damaging the paint.

Bank robbery-Member’s 1st Federal Credit Union, 2420 Mt Rose Ave

At 1453 hours Officers responded to the business for the report of a robbery that just occurred.  Employees advised a male entered and demanded cash.  The male got away with an undisclosed amount and was last seen running from the area.  A photo of the male was disseminated and the investigation is ongoing.

Harassment-Village East Apartments, 3400 Eastern Blvd

At 1855 hours Officers responded to the Village East Apts for the report of a physical domestic.  One male was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking where he was charged with harassment.

Retail theft-Bon Ton, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1901 hours an Officer responded to the Bon Ton for three females in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised they had each taken under $150 worth of merchandise without paying.  They were found to be juveniles  and were released to a guardian with charges to be filed.

Retail theft-Super Shoes, 2541 E Market St

At 1941 hours an Officer responded to Super Shoes for the report of a male who fled after committing a retail theft.  An employee advised the male took $39 worth of merchandise and took off running when confronted.

Possession of heroin/OD-3700 block of Stonybrook Rd

At 2118 hours Officers responded to a residence on Stonybrook Rd to assist EMS with an overdose.  EMS had revived a male and located suspected heroin at the scene.  The suspected heroin was seized and the male will not be charged due to the overdose immunity law.
