On Tuesday December 27th STPD Officers handled 14 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 burglar alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Hit and run-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 0655 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of a hit and run that occurred in the parking lot of Walmart. The victim advised his vehicle had been struck while he was inside shopping.
Theft-Heritage Hills Hotel, 2700 Mt Rose Ave
At 1024 hours an Officer spoke with the victim about a theft of gift cards that occurred while the victim was staying at the Heritage Hills Hotel. The investigation is ongoing.
Hit and run-Rutter’s, 160 N Hills Rd
At 2052 hours an Officer responded to the parking lot of Rutters for the report of a hit and run that occurred in the parking lot. The victim advised his vehicle had been struck while it was parked. He provided a description of the driver and her tag number. The female was later located after she was involved in another accident that was handled by York Area Regional PD.
