On Thursday December 22nd STPD Officers handled 27 incidents and investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft-Central York High School, 601 Mundis Mill Rd

At 0930 hours the School Resource Officer took a report for a student’s wallet that was stolen on 12/21/16.

Harassment-4000 block of Old Orchard Rd

At 1005 hours the victim came to the station to report harassment via social media.  The victim suspected his ex-girlfriend has been creating social media accounts and posting things about him.

Hit and run-Gabriel Brothers Plaza, 1226 Greensprings Dr

At 1120 hours the victim came to the station to report a hit and run that occurred on 12/19/16.  The victim advised his vehicle had been struck while parked in the lot of the Gabriel Brothers Plaza.

Retail theft-Lowes, 2449 E Market St

At 1255 hours an Officer responded to Lowes for the report of a retail theft where the suspect had fled.  An employee advised the suspect had taken $141 worth of merchandise and fled when confronted.  Photos of the suspect were disseminated for identification.

Retail theft-Target, 2610 Pleasant Valley Rd

At 1343 hours an Officer responded to Target for two females in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the females worked together to take $187 worth of merchandise.  Both females  were transported to Central Booking and charged.

Hit and run-E Market St at Mt Zion Rd

At 1821 hours an Officer responded to E Market St for the report of a hit and run.  The victim advised a silver sedan had struck her vehicle and fled the scene north on Mt Zion Rd.

Criminal mischief-Sheetz, 405 Memory Ln

At 2321 hours an Officer responded to Sheetz for the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.  The victim advised a subject had slashed her tire while she was inside the store.  Photos of the subject were provided and will be disseminated for identification.
