On Wednesday December 21st STPD Officers handled 22 incidents, investigated 6 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft-1800 block of N Sherman St

At 0945 hours an Officer met with the victim who wanted to report a package was stolen off her porch.  The victim advised the package contained $25 worth of items and was stolen after it was delivered by  UPS.

Access device fraud-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1310 hours an Officer met with the victim who wanted to report his bank card number was used to make purchases at Walmart on 12/13/16.  The investigation is ongoing.

Theft-Walgreens, 2350 E Market St

At 1925 hours an Officer responded to Walgreens for the report of a theft of medication.  The victim advised someone had picked up her prescription from the pharmacy using her name and information.  The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-AT&T Store, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1948 hours an Officer responded to the AT&T Store at the Galleria Mall for the report of a retail theft.  An employee advised several females had taken numerous items worth at least $730 without paying.  Video surveillance will be provided in an attempt to identify the suspects.

Retail theft-Best Buy, 2865 Concord Rd

At 2302 hours an Officer responded to Best Buy for a retail theft where the suspects had fled.  The females had taken $299 worth of merchandise and fled in a white Acura with MD tags.  A York Area Regional PD Officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.  The merchandise was recovered and the vehicle was impounded due to it being full of suspected stolen merchandise from other stores.  One female was taken to Central Booking and charged with misdemeanor retail theft due to not being a PA resident.  The other female was released with charges pending further investigation.
