On Tuesday November 15th STPD Officers handled 20 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Theft-Vitamin World, 2899 Whiteford Rd
At 1320 hours an Officer responded to Vitamin World for the report of a theft of medication. The victim advised an unknown person had taken prescription medication out of her purse between 0930-1200 hours.
Possession of marijuana/drug paraphernalia-3900 block of E Market St
At 2013 hours an Officer responded to the 3900 block of E Market St for the report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival the Officer located the vehicle and a male occupant fled on foot. The Officer later found a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and the male’s PA ID card in the vehicle. Charges to be filed.
Theft by deception/Counterfeit currency-Wendy’s, 2802 E Market St
At 2334 hours an Officer responded to Wendy’s for the report of a male who attempted to use a fake $20 to pay for food in the drive-thru. An employee told the male the bill was fake and the male paid using a real $20 bill. The fake bill was kept by the employee and turned over to police. Before the male left his tag number was obtained. The investigation is ongoing.
