On Monday November 14th STPD Officers handled 20 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1440 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $136 worth of merchandise.  She was cited for summary retail theft and released.

Theft-100 block of N Oxford St

At 1410 hours an Officer responded to a residence on N Oxford St for the report of a theft of two scooters that had just occurred.  Two juveniles were located in the same neighborhood with the stolen scooters.  The juveniles were released to guardians with charges to be filed.

Robbery-Subway, 2516 Eastern Blvd

At 0245 hours Officers responded to the Subway for the report of an armed robbery.  An employee advised a male suspect entered the business and demanded money from the cash register.  The male made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen headed westbound on Eastern Blvd in a dark sedan.

Theft by deception-1000 block of Sagamore Dr

At 2352 hours an Officer responded to an address on Sagamore Dr for a theft by deception.  The victim advised he arranged to sell an Apple iPhone 7 to a subject through an online marketplace.  The suspect arrived at his home and paid for the phone with cash.  The victim later discovered the cash was counterfeit.  The investigation is ongoing.
