On Monday November 7th, STPD Officers handled 30 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Criminal mischief-N Keesey St

At 0820 hours an Officer responded to a residence on N Keesey St for the report of criminal mischief.  The victim advised a window on her home had been damaged overnight.

Criminal mischief-Jean Lo Way

At 0838 hours an Officer responded to two residences on Jean Lo Way for the report of criminal mischief to vehicles.  The victims at each residence owned a Toyota Prius and sometime overnight, a subject had covered their vehicles in shaving cream.  The victims did not know who may have a problem with them driving a Toyota Prius.

Retail theft-Lowes, 2449 E Market St

At 1017 hours an Officer responded to Lowes for the report of a retail theft that occurred earlier on this date.  An employee provided video of a male stealing $318 worth of merchandise.  Photos of the male were distributed and the investigation is ongoing.

Hit and run-Round the Clock Diner East, 145 Memory Ln

At 1028 hours an Officer responded to the Round the Clock Diner for a hit and run that occurred in the parking lot.  The victim advised she witnessed her parked vehicle get struck by another vehicle which then fled the scene.  A tag number was provided and contact was made with the striking vehicle.  The victim declined prosecution and information was exchanged.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1240 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a retail theft report.  An employee had one female in custody who had taken $216 worth of merchandise.  Another female had been with her and fled on foot after taking $91 in merchandise.  The female in custody was identified and released with charges to be filed.  Information was obtained on the other female and charges are pending further investigation.

Retail theft-Gabriel Brothers, 1226 Greensprings Dr

At 1425 hours an Officer responded to Gabriel Brothers for a retail theft where the suspect had fled.  An employee advised a male had taken $179 worth of merchandise and fled on foot when confronted.

Retail theft-Sears, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1500 hours an Officer responded to Sears for a retail theft where the suspect had fled.  An employee advised the male had taken $350 worth of merchandise and fled when confronted.  Photos of the male were distributed and the investigation is ongoing.

False ID to Law Enforcement-Edgewood Rd at Eastern Blvd

At 1705 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Edgewood Rd.  The driver of the vehicle provided false information about their identity.  The driver was eventually positively identified and released with charges to be filed.
