On Sunday November 6th STPD Officers handled 18 incidents and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Hit and run-Barracuda’s, 2256 Industrial Hwy

At 0131 hours an Officer responded to Barracuda’s for the report of a hit and run that occurred in the parking lot.  The victim advised her vehicle was struck and the suspect had fled the scene.  A witness provided information on the suspect’s identity and the investigation is ongoing.

False alarm-Quality Inn, 2600 E Market St

At 0218 hours an Officer responded to the Quality Inn for the report of a subject who pulled the fire alarm.  The subject admitted that he pulled the alarm for no reason and he was taken into custody.  He was transported to Central Booking and charged because he was not a PA resident.

Harassment-Youth Development Center-3564 Heindel Rd

At 1005 hours an Officer responded to YDC for the report of an altercation between two juvenile residents.  Harassment charges to be filed.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1803 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a retail theft where the suspect had fled on foot.  An employee advised the suspect had taken over $200 in merchandise.  The suspect was located nearby and identified.  The employee also advised she is a suspect in numerous other retail thefts that occurred at Walmart.  Charges are pending further investigation.
