On Wednesday October 26th STPD Officers handled 33 incidents and investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Counterfeit currency-Rutter’s, 725 Arsenal Rd

At 0013 hours an Officer responded to Rutter’s for the report of a counterfeit bill being passed.  An employee advised that within the past day an unknown person had presented the bill for payment.

Open lewdness-Unique Physique, 3432 E Market St

At 0642 hours an Officer responded to Unique Physique for the report of a subject who had exposed himself to a female in the women’s locker room.  The victim advised that while she was in the locker room she observed a male standing in a doorway masturbating.  The male then fled the building.  A suspect was developed and the investigation is ongoing.

Public drunkenness-Staples, 2915 Concord Rd

At 1014 hours an Officer responded to Staples for the report of a subject who was sleeping on the floor inside the store.  Contact was made with the male and it was found he was under the influence of narcotics.  He was cited for public drunkenness and transported to Central Booking.

Theft-Subway, 2516 Eastern Blvd

At 0943 hours an Officer responded to Subway for the report of a theft.  An employee advised money had been taken out of the cash register during business hours yesterday.  The suspect was identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Harassment-Central York High School, 601 Mundis Mill Rd

At 1210 hours the School Resource Officer took a report for a male student who punched another male student in the cafeteria.  The investigation is ongoing.

Identity theft-3300 block of Taunton Dr

At 1404 hours an Officer met with the victim for a report of identity theft.  The victim advised she had given her personal information to an unknown entity that was posing as Paypal.

Theft-2500 block of Mt Zion Rd

At 1958 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Mt Zion Rd for the report of a theft of a UPS package.  The victim advised the package was delivered yesterday and was stolen by an unknown person.
