Daily Report for September 27th, 2016

On Tuesday September 27th STPD Officers handled 34 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft-Candlewood Suites, 951 N Hills Rd

At 0915 hours an Officer responded to the construction site where the Candlewood Suites Hotel is being built.  Construction employees reported that overnight someone had entered trailers and removed numerous tools.

Retail theft-K Mart, 1094 Haines Rd

At 1725 hours an Officer responded to K Mart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female took $152 worth of clothing without paying.  The female was identified and released with charges to be filed.

Access Device Fraud-Bridlewood Way

At 1845 hours an Officer met with the victim for a report of unauthorized use of his credit card.  The victim advised his credit card was used to purchase items from a web site by an unknown person.

Retail theft-Giant, 2415 E Market St

At 2017 hours an Officer responded to Giant for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $503 worth of food without paying.  The female was identified and found to have an active warrant.  She was taken to Central Booking for the warrant and charges will be filed for retail theft.
