On Wednesday September 28th STPD Officers handled 24 incidents and investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft from vehicle-Fine Wine and Good Spirits, 2547 E Market St

At 2129 hours an Officer responded to Fine Wine and Good Spirits for the report of a theft from an unlocked vehicle.  The victim advised a credit card, several dollars in cash, and her laptop were taken out of her vehicle while it was parked in the lot.

Theft from vehicle-Buffalo Wild Wings-105 Northern Way

At 2206 hours Officers responded to the area of Buffalo Wild Wings for the report of a male who was seen entering other people’s vehicles in the parking lot.  Contact was made with an owner of one of the vehicles who said a vaping device was stolen out of their unlocked vehicle.  A subject was located nearby who matched the description given by the witness and he had the stolen vaping device in his possession.  The laptop taken from Fine Wine and Good Spirits was also located nearby where the same male had ditched it.  The male was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking where was charged with two counts of theft and receiving stolen property.

Harassment-3100 block E Market St

At 2322 hours Officers responded to a residence on E Market St for the report of an unknown problem.  Investigation revealed a domestic dispute had occurred and the female involved advised she was pushed by her boyfriend.  The male was cited for harassment.
