On Monday September 26th STPD Officers handled 38 incidents and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Disorderly conduct-Greensprings Apts, Bridlewood Way

At 0207 hours Officers responded to the Greensprings Apts for the report of a female who was banging on doors and creating a disturbance.  The female was not a resident and several complaints were received by tenants.  The female was cited for disorderly conduct and transported to her residence.

Criminal mischief-4200 block of Webster Dr

At 0807 an Officer responded to a residence on Webster Dr for the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.  The victim advised that sometime overnight an unknown person had poured used motor oil and paint on two vehicles that were parked in his driveway.

Criminal mischief-Edible Arrangements, 2300 E Market St

At 0840 hours an Officer responded to Edible Arrangements for the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle that occurred on 9/23/16.  An employee advised her vehicle had been scratched while it was parked in the lot.

Theft-Central York High School, 601 Mundis Mill Rd

At 0855 hours the School Resource Officer took a reported for a theft.  A student advised that his cell phone and some cash was taken out of his locker.

Criminal mischief-Eastside Assembly of God, 3430 Eastern Blvd

At 1305 hours an Officer responded to the Eastside Assembly of God for the report of criminal mischief.  A member of the church advised that over the weekend someone had damaged two windows on the building.

Counterfeit currency-Best Buy Mobile, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1437 hours an Officer responded to the business for the report of counterfeit currency being passed.  An employee advised two subjects had purchased some items using a $100 bill which was later found to be fake.

Hit and run-Cinema Dr at E Market St

At 1700 hours an Officer responded to Cinema Dr for the report of a hit and run.  The caller advised the school bus she was driving was struck by a green Dodge that fled eastbound on E Market St.  There were no students on the bus at the time and the damage was minor.

Retail theft-Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1900 hours an Officer responded to Boscovs for the report of a retail theft involving two subjects.  An employee had a female in custody but her male accomplice had fled.  The female was found to have taken $317 worth of merchandise.  The male was later identified and found to have 7 prior convictions for retail theft.  The female will be charged with misdemeanor retail theft and was taken to Central Booking for an active warrant.  A warrant will be obtained for the male.

DUI-1400 block N Sherman St

At 1934 hours Officers responded to the 1400 block of N Sherman St for the report of a subject who was DUI.  Officers located the suspect’s vehicle and were able to conduct a traffic stop on Lower Glades Rd.  The driver was arrested for DUI and taken for a blood test and processing.  Charges to be filed.
