On Monday September 19th STPD Officers handled 32 incidents, investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 3 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft-35oo block of E Market St

At 0111 hours an Officer responded to a residence on E Market St for the report of a theft of medication.  The victim advised several bottles of medication were missing and she believed they were stolen.

Theft-Chuck E Cheese, 2801 E Market St

At 1143 hours an Officer met with the victim for the report of a theft of a cell phone that occurred at Chuck E Cheese on 9/17/16.  The victim advised her cell phone was stolen while she was at the business and it was tracked using GPS to a parking lot in York City.  She responded to the parking lot but was unable to locate the phone.

Criminal mischief-900 block of Erlen Dr

At 1644 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Erlen Dr for the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.  The victim advised his vehicle was scratched while it was parked at the residence overnight.

Retail theft-Sears, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1732 hours Officers responded to Sears for the report of three males who fled after committing a retail theft.  One male was located nearby and was taken into custody.  A Sears employee advised the male had taken $1714 worth of merchandise without paying.  The male was transported to Central Booking and charged with felony retail theft.
