On Sunday August 14th STPD Officers handled 20 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 burglar alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Trespassing-Fat Daddy’s, 2510 E Market St
At 0129 hours Officers responded to Fat Daddy’s for the report of a male who was fighting with security after refusing to leave. The subject was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking where he was charged with trespassing.
Theft from vehicle-2800 block of Eastwood Dr
At 1023 hours an Officer responded to an address on Eastwood Dr for the report of a theft from vehicle that occurred overnight. The victim advised her vehicle was left unlocked and someone had entered it and took a gift card and some change.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1938 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a female in custody for retail theft. An employee advised the female had taken $58 worth of merchandise without paying. The female was cited for summary retail theft and released.
