On Wednesday, February 17th, 2016 STPD Officers responded to 25 incidents and 3 alarms.  IN addition the following crimes were investigated.

Access Device Fraud-2254 Industrial Highway

On 2-17-16 at 1423 hours Police were dispatched to 2254 Industrial Hwy for a fraud report. Upon arrival the complainant reported that on 1-8-16 an unknown male made  two purchases with a credit card. On approximately 2-12-16 the business was notified that the cards were fraudulent.

Criminal Mischief-2618 East Market Street

Police responded to the Autumn House, 2618 E. Market St. for a criminal mischief. Upon arrival the victim advised that sometime today, her vehicle was damaged while parked in the parking lot. Information was obtained for further investigation.

Hit and Run-2835 Concord Road

Police were dispatched to the location for a hit and run. Once on scene the victim advised that an unknown vehicle had struck his vehicle and then fled the scene.  Further investigation is needed.

Retail Theft-Giant, 2415 East Market Street

Police responded to the Giant Food Store, 2415 E. Market St. for a retail theft. Upon my arrival  the complainant advised that two unknown subjects stole merchandise and fled. Information was obtained from an independent witness for further investigation.

Retail Theft-Best Buy, 2865 Concord Road

Police were called to Best Buy for a report of a retail theft in progress. Upon arrival, one adult male was taken into custody and cited for summary retail theft. The male was released from the scene without incident.

Indecent Assault-Weis Markets, 2400 East Market Street

On the above date Police responded to Weis Markets at 2400 E Market St for the report of an assault. An employee reported she was assaulted by an unknown customer.  Investigation continues.
