On Thursday February 18th, 2016 STPD Officers responded to 30 incidents, investigated 2 crashes and responded to 4 alarms. In addition the following crimes were investigated.
Hit and Run-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street
Police were dispatched to the location for a report of a hit and run accident. Once on scene the victim advised that an unknown subject had struck her vehicle and left the scene. Investigation continues.
Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street
While at Wal-Mart for an unrelated incident Police were alerted to a retail theft that was in progress. A subject was seen exited the store with merchandise. The subject was later taken into custody and charges filed.
Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street
On February 18th 2016 at 2105 hours Police were dispatched to Walmart for a retail theft. Through investigation it was determined that the offender stole shoes from the store. Charges to follow.

On February 19th 2016 at 2331 hours Police were dispatched to Walmart for a retail theft. Through investigation it was revealed that the offender stole $250 dollars worth of merchandise. Charges to follow.
