On Monday November 9th, 2015 STPD Officers responded to 20 incidents, investigated 2 crashes and responded to 1 false alarm.  In addition, the following crimes were investigated.

Theft- 9 Longstown Road

A theft of multiple prescription drugs occurred at 9 Longstown Rd. The victim advised a person known to him most likely stole the medications sometime between Friday, November 6, 2015 and Sunday, November 8, 2015.

Criminal Mischief-3201 East Market Street

Police were dispatched to the location for a report of damage to the front door of the complex. Once on scene, the manager of the property advised that someone had damaged the door during an argument with another subject.  Investigation continues.

Theft from Auto-2801 East Market Street

The victim advised that her purse was stolen out of her friend’s vehicle. The vehicle was parked in front of Burlington Coat Factory, 2801 E. Market St. The female subject advised that Xanax and money were in her purse.

Retail Theft-Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford Road

On 11/9/2015 at 1355 hrs, Police responded to Boscovs for a retail theft. Upon arrival, loss prevention advised that they had a female in custody for taking 9 miscellaneous items valued at $87.66 and making no attempt to pay for them. The female was identified and issued a non-traffic citation for retail theft.

Township Park Violation-Springettsbury Township Park, 1501 Mount Zion Road

Township employees reported seeing a male firing a bow in the Township Park directly behind the Police Dept. located at 1501 Mt. Zion Rd. Contact was made with the male and charges to be filed.

Retail Theft-Ross, 2855 Concord Road

On 11/9/2015 at 1605 hrs, Police  responded to Ross for a retail theft. Upon arrival, employees of Ross observed a male, that has been seen stealing in the past, take numerous items concealed in a Ross’s reusable bag and walk out passing all points of sale with no attempt to pay for the merchandise.

Hit and Run-2801 East Market Street

The victim responded to STPD to report a hit and run that occurred at Walmart.  He advised that his vehicle was struck while he was inside shopping.
