Over the weekend STPD Officers responded to 52 incidents, investigated 2 crashes and responded to 4 false alarms. In addition, the following crimes were investigated.
Curfew Violation-Edgewood Road at Eastern Blvd
On November 7th 2015 at 0033 hours an STPD Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Edgewood Rd at Eastern Blvd. Investigation revealed that the operator was 17 years old and she was cited for curfew.
Harassment-100 Pleasant Acres Road
A disturbance occurred at 100 Pleasant Acres Rd in the Stonybrook Manor lobby on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at approx. 1225 hours. Two elderly women got into a scuffle where hair was pulled and pushing occurred. Investigation to continue.
Counterfeiting-McDonald’s, 380 Memory Lane
On 11/7/2015 at 1509 hrs, Police responded to McDonalds on Memory Lane for a counterfeit $20 bill. Upon arrival, the manager advised that a counterfeit bill was found on this date at 1329 hrs in the drive thru cash drawer. No suspects at this time.
Retail Theft-Kohl’s, 2600 Pleasant Valley Road
Responded to Kohl’s, 2600 Pleasant Valley Rd. for a retail theft. Upon my arrival the complainant advised that earlier this date an unknown male stole merchandise and fled. Information was obtained for further investigation.
Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street
On 11/7/2015 at 1624 hrs, Police responded to Walmart for a retail theft. Upon arrival, loss prevention had 2 juveniles in custody for retail theft. Both females were identified and will be referred to Youth Aid Panel.
Criminal Mischief-Kay Jewelers, 2899 Whiteford Road
On the above date Police were advised of a customer causing problems at Kay Jewelers. The customer had broken a plastic display rack after yelling at an employee. She fled the scene and her identity is unknown.
Retail Theft/Possession of Marijuana-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street
On the above date and time Police responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft. Upon arrival a female was arrested for retail theft and possession of marijuana. She was released with charges pending.
