On Thursday November 5th, 2015 STPD Officers responded to 19 incidents, investigated 4 crashes and responded to 4 false alarms. In addition, the following crimes were investigated.
Criminal Mischief-1318 East Eleventh Ave
On the above date and time Police responded to 1318 E 11th Ave for the report of a criminal mischief to vehicles. Upon arrival it was determined that three of the victims vehicles had the tires slashed.
Possession of Marijuana-Rte 30 at Mount Zion Road
On 11-5-15 at 1103 hrs an STPD Officer stopped a tan VW Jetta for speeding on Rt 30 WB at Mt. Zion Rd. Upon making contact with the occupants the odor of burnt marijuana was detected. Upon speaking to the occupants the female passenger turned over a plastic bag with suspected marijuana. Charges to be filed.
Retail Theft-Lowes, 2449 East Market Street
Received a report from York Co Adult Probation that two individuals admitted to committing a retail theft at Lowes on 11/05/15. Charges to follow.
Retail Theft-Ross, 2855 Concord Road
On 11/5/2015 at 1600 hrs, Police responded to Ross Dress for Less for a retail theft. Upon arrival, the manager advised that it was brought to her attention that a male who has been stealing items on previous occasions was in the store. The male took numerous items from display and placed them in a gift bag that he took from the display. The male left in a silver Kia. Further investigation.
