Pedestrian Struck on Rte. 30

 On November 5th, 2015 at approximately 1955 hours the Springettsbury Township Police Department was dispatched to Rte. 30 westbound west of Mount Zion Road for a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.  Investigation revealed that a white male (69 years of age) was struck by a black Honda Accord Crosstour driven by a female driver (20 years of age).  The pedestrian was struck while he was in the left westbound lane and died as a result of the impact.

Names of those involved are not being released at this time due to this investigation being ongoing.  Anyone that may have witnessed this incident is asked to contact the Springettsbury Township Police at 717-757-3525.
