On Wednesday, November 11th, 2015 STPD Officers responded to 18 incidents, investigated 4 crashes and responded to 1 false alarm.  In addition, the following crimes were investigated.

Retail Theft-Wal-Mart, 2801 East Market Street

On 11/11/2015 at approximately 1345 hours this department was dispatched to Walmart, 2801 E Market St, for a retail theft. A black female wearing a striped shirt and gray sweat shirt, stole 21 miscellaneous items offered for sale by Walmart. She tried leaving the store without paying for the merchandise and fled when approached by loss prevention. The female left in a dark colored Jeep Cherokee but no registration was obtained due to the suspect flipping the registration plate up. The merchandise was recovered with a value of $150.42.

Domestic Related Assault-484 Marion Road

On 11/11/2015, this agency was dispatched to the 400 block of Marion Rd for an unknown problem. Further investigation revealed that a male, unlawfully restrained, imprisoned and assaulted his girlfriend over a period of several days.

Hit and Run-10 Doersam Court

Police were called to 10 Doersam Ct for a report of a hit and run. Investigation revealed that the victim’s vehicle was struck and damaged by a school bus, which then left the scene. The victim declined prosecution, but requested that police obtain the bus driver’s information and bus information for insurance purposes.

Retail Theft-Piercing Pagoda, 2899 Whiteford Road

Police were called to the Piercing Pagoda at the Galleria Mall for a report of a retail theft. Investigation revealed that an unknown black male stole jewelry from the kiosk and fled the store heading westbound on foot.
