On Saturday October 20th STPD Officers handled 28 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 alarm. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Possession of marijuana-Haines Rd at Mt Rose Ave
At 0008 hours an Officer responded to this area for the report of a suspicious vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was released with charges to be filed.
Hit and run-2500 block of E Market St
At 0131 hours an Officer met with the victim who advised that another vehicle had knocked off her side mirror as she was driving on E Market St.
Public drunkenness-Memory Ln
At 0159 hours an Officer located a highly intoxicated male who was stumbling in the 100 block of Memory Ln. He was turned over to a family member and cited for public drunkenness.
Simple assault-Youth Development Center, Heindel Rd
At 1738 hours Officers responded to YDC for the report of a juvenile resident who assaulted two staff members. Charges will be filed.
Hit and run-Ulta, Concord Rd
At 1756 hours an Officer took a report from the victim who reported her vehicle was struck while it was parked in the lot. A witness provided some information on the striking vehicle and the driver was identified and information was exchanged.
Harassment-Barnhart’s Motel, E Market St
At 1915 hours Officers responded to Barnhart’s Motel for the report of two females who got into an altercation over loud music. They will each be cited for harassment.
