On Tuesday October 2nd STPD Officers handled 31 incidents and responded to 1 alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Trespassing-Springettsbury Twp Waste Water Treatment Plant, N Sherman St

At 0802 hours an Officer responded to the location for the report of a male hunting in violation of no trespassing signs.  He was identified and will be cited for trespassing.

Harassment-Dunkin Donuts, E Market St

At 0833 hours an Officer responded to the Dunkin Donuts for the report of harassment as a result of a traffic dispute.  The male suspect was identified and harassment charges will be filed.

Theft by deception-MDJ 19-2-01, Pleasant Acres Rd

At 1210 hours an Officer responded to MDJ 19-2-01 for a report that a check was written in June by a female to pay court costs.  It was discovered that the check was written on a closed account and the investigation is ongoing.

Terroristic threats/Harassment/Public drunkenness-E Market St at Innovation Dr

At 1310 hours Officers responded to E Market St for the report of a disorderly subject on a Rabbit Transit bus.  The subject was found to be intoxicated and he spit on an Officer and made threats to shoot others, including police.  He was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking where he was charged.

Retail theft-Boscovs, Whiteford Rd

At 1519 hours an Officer responded to Boscovs for a retail theft.  An employee advised a female had taken over $50 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was identified and charges will be filed.

Access device fraud-Alpine Rd

At 1715 hours an Officer met with the victim who reported someone stole his wallet out of his vehicle on 10/1.  The suspect had used a bank card to make purchases nearby and the video surveillance from the store was viewed.  The victim knew the suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
