On Thursday September 13th STPD Officers handled 45 incidents, investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St

At 0933 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $48 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was found to have active arrest warrants and was taken to Central Booking.  Charges to be filed.

Burglary-Locust Grove Rd

At 1230 hours an Officer responded to a  residence on Locust Grove Rd and met with the victim who reported someone had entered the home while it was vacant and vandalized numerous things inside.  The investigation is ongoing.

Underage drinking-Central York Middle School-N Hills Rd

At 0755 hours the School Resource Officer handled a report of underage drinking where two student were found to be in possession of liquor.  The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Walmart, E Market St

At 1731 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $204 worth of merchandise without paying.  She was released with charges to be filed.
