On Wednesday June 20th STPD Officers handled 31 incidents and investigated 1 motor vehicle accident. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Hit and run-1100 N Sherman St
At 1445 hours an Officer responded to N Sherman St for a hit and run report. The victim advised his vehicle was struck while it was parked in the lot.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1532 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a female that fled after committing a retail theft. An employee advised the female took $70 worth of merchandise without paying and fled in a vehicle. The female was identified and charges will be filed.
Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle-3000 block of Mark Dr
At 1640 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Mark Dr for the report of unauthorized use of a vehicle. The victim advised a family member was refusing to return her vehicle. The vehicle was entered into NCIC.
