On Tuesday April 10th STPD Officers handled 33 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 2 alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Criminal mischief-100 block of N Oxford St

At 1107 hours an Officer responded to a residence on N Oxford St for the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.  The victim advised that someone had broken out the rear window of her vehicle while it was parked along the street.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1423 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft.  An employee advised a known subject had taken merchandise on several occasions within the past two weeks.  The total loss is $611 and charges will be filed.

Retail theft-Weis Markets, 2400 E Market St

At 1803 hours an Officer responded to Weis for a retail theft report.  An employee advised a male had taken $134 worth of merchandise without paying.  A witness obtained the male’s license plate number and the investigation is ongoing.

Possession of marijuana-N Keesey St at E Market St

At 2300 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop at the above location.  Two subjects in the vehicle were found to have warrants and they were taken into custody.  One subject was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.  They were both transported to Central Booking and charges will filed.
