On Thursday February 22nd STPD Officers handled 22 incidents, investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Harassment-100 block of Crown Pointe Dr

At 0245 hours Officers responded to a residence on Crown Pointe Dr for the report of a domestic.  The male on scene advised he was struck by a female.  There were no injuries and the male declined prosecution.

Possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia-Mt Zion Rd at Concord Rd

At 0418 hours Officers responded to Mt Zion Rd for the report of a female stumbling in the roadway.  The female was found to be under the influence of heroin.  She was in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia and she was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Theft from vehicle-Apple Hill Ln

At 0651 hours and Officer responded to Apple Hill Ln for a theft report.  The victim advised that within the past several days someone had taken cash and a handgun from his vehicle.

Theft/Access device fraud-Champ’s, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1157 hours an Officer responded to the Galleria Mall for a theft report.  The victim advised her wallet had been taken from Champ’s and her credit card had been used to make several unauthorized purchases.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1613 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a male in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the male had taken $99 worth of merchandise without paying.  He was cited and released.

Retail theft-Fine Wine and Good Spirits, 2547 E Market St

At 1640 hours an Officer responded to the business for the report of a retail theft that just occurred.  An employee advised a subject had taken $23 worth of merchandise without paying.  The subject was located nearby and identified.  Charges to be filed.
