On Sunday December 31st STPD Officers handled 18 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
DUI-Edgewood Rd at E Market St
At 0158 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on Edgewood Rd. The driver was found to be under the influence and she was arrested for DUI. She was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing. Charges pending blood test results.
Possession of marijuana-Galleria Mall, 2899 Whiteford Rd
At 1100 hours an Officer responded to Mt Zion Rd for the report of an erratic driver. The vehicle was located at the Galleria Mall and found to be occupied by three juveniles. A small amount of marijuana was located in the vehicle. The juveniles were released to a guardian with charges to be filed.
Criminal mischief-2000 block of St Andrews Ct
At 1326 hours an Officer responded to a residence on St Andrews Ct for the report of a mailbox that was damaged overnight.
Harassment-Yorkshire Apts, 3205 E Market St
At 1626 hours an Officer responded to the Yorkshire Apts for a harassment report. The victim advised a known subject had been harassing her by phone. The investigation is ongoing.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 2008 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for two juveniles in custody for retail theft. An employee advised the subjects had taken $107 worth of merchandise without paying. They were released to a guardian with charges to be filed.
