On Tuesday December 19th STPD Officers handled 24 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 2 burglar alarms.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft from a vehicle-400 block of Pinehurst Rd

At 0333 hours Officers responded to a residence on Pinehurst Rd for the report of a theft from a vehicle that just occurred.  The victim stated a subject had just entered his vehicle while it was parked in front of his residence and took cash.

Theft from a vehicle-100 block of Greystone Rd

At 1049 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Greystone Rd for the report of a theft from a vehicle that just occurred.  The victim stated that within the past hour someone had entered her vehicle while it was parked at the residence and stole items from her purse.

Retail theft-Super Shoes, 2541 E Market St

At 1150 hours an Officer responded to Super Shoes for the report of a retail theft where the suspect fled.  An employee advised a female had taken $89 worth of merchandise without paying and ran when confronted.  The female was located nearby and found to be a juvenile.  Charges to be filed.

Hit and run-Bed, Bath & Beyond, 2845 Concord Rd

At 1510 hours an Officer responded to the parking lot of Bed, Bath & Beyond for a hit and run report.  The victim stated another vehicle struck hers in the parking lot and she confronted the driver who then fled the area without providing any information.

Hit and run-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1835 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a hit and run report.  The victim advised that someone left a note on her vehicle saying that they witnessed a vehicle strike hers and then leave the area.  A tag number was provided and the investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Bon Ton, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1958 hours an Officer responded to Bon Ton for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female took $130 worth of merchandise without paying.  The female was found to be a juvenile and she was released to a parent with charges to be filed.

Fugitive from justice-1600 block of Memory Ln Ext

At 1704 hours Officers responded to Memory Ln Ext for the report of suspicious persons.  One female was found to have a warrant and taken to Central Booking.  It was later discovered that this female was also wanted out of MD and they wanted to extradite.  Charges were completed.
