On Wednesday November 1st STPD Officers handled 24 incidents and investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Theft-Courtyard by Marriott, 2799 Concord Rd
At 0945 hours an Officer took a report of a theft. The company reported that an employee had taken money from the business over the past year. The investigation is ongoing.
Retail theft-Kohls, 2600 Pleasant Valley Rd
At 1427 hours an Officer responded to Kohls for a female in custody for retail theft. An employee advised the female had taken $312 worth of merchandise without paying. She was released with charges to be filed.
Hit and run-Galleria Mall, 2899 Whiteford Rd
At 1550 hours an Officer responded to the Galleria Mall for a hit and run report. The victim stated that her Hyundai sedan was struck while she was inside the mall. The striking vehicle left behind white transfer paint.
Theft from a vehicle-Burger King, 2400 Mt Rose Ave
At 1743 hours an Officer responded to Burger King for a theft report. The victim advised her wallet was taken out of her unlocked vehicle while she was inside the restaurant.
