On Saturday September 9th STPD Officers handled 21 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Public drunkenness- 100 block of Mt Zion Rd

At 0258 hours an Officer responded to a business on Mt Zion Rd for the report of a male passed out in the parking lot.  The male was found to be highly intoxicated and he was cited for public drunkenness and released to a family member.

Hit and run-Mt Zion Rd at Rt 30

At 1355 hours an Officer responded to this intersection for the report of a hit and run.  The victim advised he was stopped in traffic when he was rear-ended by a tan Nissan van.  The van fled the area possibly onto Rt 30.

Disorderly conduct-Sears, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1656 hours an Officer responded to Sears for the report of several subjects who knocked over displays in the store.  The subjects had fled the area and the investigation is ongoing.

Identity theft-3800 block of Oakleigh Dr

At 1826 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Oakleigh Dr for the report of identity theft.  The victim advised someone gained access to an online account and made purchases with his personal information.

Escape-Youth Development Center, 3564 Heindel Rd

At 2312 hours Officers responded to YDC for the report of three residents who escaped.  One of the residents was captured by police after a foot pursuit but the other two were not located.  Charges to be filed.
