On Sunday May 7th STPD Officers handled 19 incidents and investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Theft-Redeemed Christian Church, 1550 Eleventh Ave
At 1039 hours an Officer responded to the above address for the report of a theft from a shed. The pastor advised that within the past week someone had forced open a shed on the property and stole some lawn equipment.
Harassment-2000 block of Live Oak Ln
At 1219 hours Officers responded to a residence on Live Oak Ln for the report of a physical domestic. The investigation revealed a male and a female had gotten into a physical fight during an argument. Both subjects were cited for summary harassment.
DUI-3600 block of E Market St
At 2032 hours Officers responded to E Market St for the report of an erratic driver. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver of the vehicle was found to be intoxicated and he was arrested for DUI. He was taken for a blood test and then to Central Booking for processing. Charges were completed due to this being the male’s second offense of DUI.
Criminal mischief-3600 block of Eastgate Dr
At 2303 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Eastgate Dr for criminal mischief to a vehicle. The victim advised a window on her van had been broken out. The victim provided a possible suspect and evidence was recovered from the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
