On Sunday February 26th STPD Officers handled 24 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

DUI-E Market St at N Oxford St

At 0204 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on E Market St.  The driver was found to be under the influence and he was arrested for DUI.  He was transported to Central Booking for a blood test and processing.  Charges are pending BAC results.

DUI-E Market St at N Hills Rd

At 0235 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop after witnessing a violation on E Market St.  The driver was found to be under the influence and she was arrested for DUI.  She was transported to Central Booking where she refused a blood test.  A search warrant was obtained and a blood test was conducted at the hospital.  She was taken back to Central Booking and charged with her second offense of DUI.

Harassment-2600 block of N Sherman St

At 1621 hours an Officer responded to a residence on N Sherman St for a physical domestic dispute.  Investigation revealed a male pushed a female during an argument.  The male was cited for summary harassment.

Simple assault/Harassment-3100 block of E Market St

At 1711 hours Officers responded to a residence on E Market St for the report of a subject armed with a sword and a slingshot who was trying to get the residents to come out of their home and fight.  The victims did not know who the subject was and called 911.  The subject was taken into custody without incident and transported to Central Booking where he was charged with several offenses.
