On Wednesday January 25th STPD Officers handled 18 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 4 burglar alarms. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Harassment-Youth Development Center, 3564 Heindel Rd
At 1143 hours an Officer responded to YDC for the report of a physical altercation between two juveniles. One of the juveniles will be cited for harassment.
Bank robbery-Citizen’s Bank, 2990 E Market St
At 1231 hours Officers responded to the Citizen’s Bank for the report of a robbery that had just occurred. Employees advised a male entered the bank and claimed to have a bomb. The male was given an undisclosed amount of cash and then took a customer’s vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered by PA State Police in the parking lot of 1094 Haines Rd. The area was checked by police units and a K-9 from the York County Sheriff’s Department but the suspect was not located. Photos of the suspect were disseminated for identification assistance.
Harassment-2400 block of Bradford Dr
At 2233 hours Officers responded to a residence on Bradford Dr for the report of a physical domestic dispute. The investigation revealed a male and a female got into a physical altercation. Neither subject had any signs of injury and they did not want to pursue charges.
