On Sunday January 22nd STPD Officers handled 16 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
DUI-E Market St at Northern Way
At 0112 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on E Market St. The driver of the vehicle was found to be under the influence and he was arrested and taken to Central Booking for a blood test and processing. Charges were completed due to this being a second offense.
DUI-E Market St at N Findlay St
At 0120 hours an Officer conducted a traffic stop on E Market St. The driver of the vehicle was found to be under the influence and she was arrested and taken to Central Booking for a blood test and processing. Charges will be filed.
Criminal mischief-Village East Apartments, 3400 Eastern Blvd
At 1435 hours an Officer responded to the Village East Apts for the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. The victim advised two of his vehicles had been damaged while parked overnight.
Hit and run-Walgreens, 2350 E Market St
At 1558 hours an Officer responded to Walgreens for the report of a hit and run that occurred in the parking lot. The victim advised her vehicle had been struck while she was inside shopping.
Hit and run-2500 block of N Sherman St
At 2317 hours an Officer responded to a residence on N Sherman St for a hit and run. The victim stated an older blue Ford truck with a topper on the bed struck her trash cans and her porch. The truck fled the scene but should have front end damage.
