On Wednesday January 11th STPD Officers handled 23 incidents and investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft from vehicle-100 block of Silver Spur Dr

At 0710 hours an Officer responded to an apartment on Silver Spur Dr for the report of a theft from a vehicle.  The victim advised that within the past ten minutes her purse was taken out of her vehicle when it was parked in the lot.  She said one of her doors may have been left unlocked.

Hit and run-E Market St at Northern Way

At 0955 hours an Officer responded to this intersection for the report of a hit and run.  The victim advised she was traveling on E Market St when a silver sedan turned into her vehicle.  The striking vehicle then fled the area and was last seen heading west on Eastern Blvd.

Hit and run-500 block of Marion Rd

At 1010 hours an Officer responded to a residence on Marion Rd for a hit and run.  The victim advised her vehicle had been struck while it was parked at the residence.

Criminal mischief-2200 block of N Sherman St

At 1541 hours an Officer responded to a home on N Sherman St for a criminal mischief report.  The victim advised a wooden fence around her property was damaged in several places overnight.

Theft-Rutters, 725 Arsenal Rd

At 1630 hours an Officer met with the victim for a theft report.  The victim advised her wallet had been taken from the Rutters on 1/9/17.  The total loss was $320.

Theft from a vehicle-Greater York Dance Studio, 3524 E Market St

At 2139 hours an Officer responded to the Greater York Dance Studio for a theft report.  The victim advised between 1500-2130 hours someone had broken out a window on her vehicle and taken her purse.
