On Saturday November 26th STPD Officers handled 17 incidents, investigated 1 motor vehicle accident, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Theft from vehicle-Village East Apartments, 3400 Eastern Blvd

At 1130 hours an Officer responded to the Village East Apartments for the report of a theft.  The victim advised the license plate was stolen off her vehicle within the past few days.

Harassment-2000 block of N Sherman St

At 1018 hours an Officer responded to a residence on N Sherman St for the report of a physical domestic dispute.  Investigation revealed a male had grabbed a female by the arm and scratched her.  The male was cited for harassment and taken to Central Booking.

Theft-Village East Apartments, 3400 Eastern Blvd

At 1208 hours an Officer responded to the Village East Apartments for the report of a theft.  The victim advised the US Post Office dropped off a package at her door.  Before she arrived home to pick it, up someone had stolen it.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1521 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a juvenile male in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised he took $134 worth of merchandise without paying.  This juvenile was also identified as a suspect from a retail theft at this location that occurred on 10/26/16 where $199 in merchandise was stolen.  He was released with charges to be filed.

Hit and run-Haines Rd at Seventh Ave

At 1751 an Officer was dispatched to a hit and run accident on Haines Rd.  The victim advised a vehicle rear ended her and fled the scene.  The striking vehicle was later located a few blocks away but the driver had fled on foot.  The driver was identified but the victim declined to prosecute.
