On Tuesday November 22nd STPD Officers handled 22 incidents, investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm. Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:
Endangering the welfare of a child- Erlen Dr
At 1149 hours Officers responded to a residence on Erlen Dr for a report of unattended children. The investigation revealed 8 children under the age of 4 were left unattended in the home. The investigation is ongoing.
Retail theft-Lowes, 2449 E Market St
At 1447 hours an Officer responded to Lowes for a male in custody for retail theft. An employee advised the male took $79 worth of merchandise without paying. The male was cited for summary retail theft and taken to Central Booking for an active warrant.
Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St
At 1655 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a retail theft where the suspect had fled. An employee advised a male had taken $150 worth of merchandise. He was last seen getting into a red sedan.
Harassment-3000 block of E Market St
At 2202 hours Officers responded to a residence on E Market St for a physical domestic dispute. The investigation revealed a female struck a male during an argument. The female was cited for harassment.
