On Wednesday November 9th STPD Officers handled 19 incidents, investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Simple Assault-Syncreon, 609 Memory Ln

At 0835 hours an Officer met the victim at the station for the report of an assault that occurred at Syncreon on 11/7/16.  The victim advised a known subject had pepper sprayed her while she was in her vehicle.  The investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft-Kohl’s, 2600 Pleasant Valley Rd

At 1349 hours an Officer responded to Kohl’s for the report of two males who had committed a retail theft.  An employee advised one subject was in custody and had taken $74 worth of merchandise.  The other male had taken $52 worth of merchandise but fled when confronted.  The male who was in custody was cited for summary retail theft.  The male who fled was identified and charges will be filed.

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1401 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft where the suspect had fled.  An employee advised the suspect had taken $33 worth of merchandise and was last seen leaving the parking lot in a vehicle.  A tag number was obtained and the suspect was identified.  Charges to be filed.

Identity theft-4000 block of Stonybrook Dr

At 1615 hours the victim reported his identity was used by an unknown person to open several credit card accounts.

Retail theft-Boscov’s, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1759 hours an Officer responded to Boscov’s for the report of a retail theft where the suspects had fled.  An employee advised 4 suspects had worked together to take merchandise and were last seen leaving the parking lot in a silver Mazda Millenia with tinted windows.  The employee will be providing photos of the suspects and the investigation is ongoing.

Theft-FYE, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1805 hours an Officer met the victim at FYE for the report of a theft and access device fraud.  The victim advised her wallet was taken from the store and her credit cards were later used at several locations.  The investigation is ongoing.
