On Tuesday November 1st STPD Officers handled 22 incidents, investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents, and responded to 1 burglar alarm.  Of those incidents the following crimes were reported:

Retail theft-Walmart, 2801 E Market St

At 1328 hours an Officer responded to Walmart for a female in custody for retail theft.  An employee advised the female had taken $7 worth of merchandise.  The employee also advised that this female had committed a retail theft on 10/25/16 where $89 worth of merchandise was taken. The female was released with charges to be filed.

Disorderly conduct-Dunkin Donuts, 2270 E Market St

At 1715 hours an Officer responded to Dunkin Donuts for the report of a subject who caused a disturbance inside the business.  Employees advised the subject was a former employee who was upset over a paycheck.  The subject knocked over some items and left prior to police arrival.  Charges to be filed.

Retail theft-Sears, 2899 Whiteford Rd

At 1715 hours an Officer responded to Sears for the report of a retail theft that had just occurred.  An employee advised two females had worked together to take $97 worth of merchandise.  They fled when confronted and abandoned a bag that contained information on one of the female’s identity.  The investigation is ongoing.
